IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. Closes Upsized $2.7 Million Financing

VANCOUVER, BC – March 14, 2014 – IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. (TSX.V:IB) (“IBC” or the “Company”) has closed, subject to final regulatory approval including final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, its previously announced non-brokered private placement by issuing 15,000,000 common share units (“Units”) of the Company at a price of $0.18 per Unit for gross proceeds of $2.7 million.

Each Unit consists of one common share (“Common Share”) of IBC and one-half of a common share purchase warrant (each whole common share purchase warrant a “Warrant”). Each Warrant is exercisable to acquire one Common Share of IBC at a price of $0.24 until March 13, 2016.

Anthony Dutton, CEO commented, “We are pleased with the strong investor support for this financing which necessitated an increase in the offering. This financing strengthens IBC’s balance sheet and allows us to more confidently pursue an increasing number of interesting and significant growth opportunities with Engineered Materials for 2014.”

In connection with the closing of the financing, the Company has agreed to pay a cash finder’s fee equal to 7% of the gross proceeds of the Offering and to grant finder’s warrants equal to 7% of the number of shares sold under the Offering. Each finder’s warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $0.24 until March 13, 2016.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the private placement for working capital purposes.
