VANCOUVER, BC — April 28th, 2009 — IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. (TSX-V: IB) (“IBC”) is pleased to announce that its Freedom Alloys division (“Freedom”) has signed, a long-term contract to supply a well-known global copper and industrial metals company. IBC will exclusively supply the customer with an advanced copper alloy for specific use in a variety of aerospace, electronic and automotive applications.
Freedom is nearing completion of an expansion project that will significantly increase the production volume of advanced copper alloys. Freedom has spent considerable effort in the development of a superior product for this market and the Company’s expansion project combines a superior product with high volume production capability to address both current needs and long-term demand.
