IBC Advanced Alloys Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Specialty Alloy Manufacturing Business

VANCOUVER, BC, May 20, 2009 – IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. (TSX-V:IB) (“IBC” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire a specialty alloy manufacturing business in an arm’s length transaction.

Completion of the proposed transaction is subject to several conditions including customary due diligence; raising sufficient capital to complete the acquisition and certain short-term business objectives; securing raw materials supply; and approval by the boards of directors of IBC and the target company; shareholders of the target company; and the TSX Venture Exchange. There can be no assurance that the transaction will be completed as proposed, or at all.
