VANCOUVER, BC – February 5, 2008 – International Beryllium Corporation (TSX-V: IB) (“IBC” or the “Company”) is pleased to report that it has engaged the services of Excelsior Communications Incorporated (“Excelsior”) to strengthen its investor relations activities and effectively communicate shareholder value to investors.
Excelsior will provide in depth reports of the Company to qualified investors through internet media and presentations developed for industry meetings, conferences and tradeshows. Excelsior maintains its office in Toronto, Ontario. Miranda Bradley and Sangeet Dhaliwal, principals, founded Excelsior in 2006 and are joint managing partners. Excelsior and the managing partners deal at arm’s length with the Company. Neither Ms. Bradley and Ms. Dhaliwal nor Excelsior hold any interest, directly or indirectly, in IBC or its securities.
In connection with the engagement, IBC has entered into a twelve month contract commencing February 1, 2008, whereby, Excelsior will receive a fee of CDN$6,500 per month. The Company has also agreed to grant the principals of Excelsior an option to purchase 500,000 common shares of the Company at an exercise price of $0.59 per share. The options will have a two year term and will vest in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange (“Exchange”).
The above-described consulting agreement and grant of options are subject to the policies of the Exchange. The term of the consulting agreement may be extended by mutual consent of IBC and Excelsior.
