Lee Rice – In Memoriam

VANCOUVER, BC – September 12, 2014 – IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. (TSX-V: IB; OTCQX: IAALF) (“IBC” or the “Company”).

IBC sadly announces the passing of Mr. Lee Rice on August 20, 2014. Lee was a key member of the IBC team, previously serving as a director and VP Exploration for a number of years, and a great friend. Lee worked tirelessly and with enthusiasm for the Company, most notably providing significant geological expertise and leading IBC’s exploration programs.

Lee served in the United States Air Force as a bomber pilot during the Vietnam War. He was also a nuclear missile commander for the Strategic Air Command. As a mining engineer, he traveled to many countries exploring minerals and precious metals. He was a Registered Professional Engineer and a Registered Member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, in Colorado, and actively served as a member of numerous other geological councils and societies.

Lee will be greatly missed by many and the Company sends its deepest condolences to his family.
